Description:   Through hands-on activities and interactive demonstrations, young artists will explore underwater creatures and their habitats while learning the basics of watercolor painting.  By the end of class,  students will understand topics like: How watercolor pigmeent behaves with water; How to use wet-on-wet watercolor techniques; and How to use other art mediums to enhance their watercolor paintings.  

 

Skill Level: Ages 6-11 yrs old

 

Supplies:  Student may bring a snack. Gallery will provide water,  Students should bring a 8 x10 picture of their chosen fish or underwater creature to paint plus 3 cool facts about their creature like: where does it live? what does it eat? and where does it hang out?
