The Burr Chase Fund for the Arts

and the Bridgton Art Guild

Annual Scholarship

The Burr Chase Fund for the Arts and the Bridgton Art Guild is a non-profit organization, founded by artists to foster visual arts in the Lakes Region. We run a cooperative art gallery, Gallery 302, in Bridgton, Maine.

We are pleased to announce that we will be awarding a $1000.00 scholarship to a talented high school senior student from the following schools: Bonny Eagle, Fryeburg Academy, Lake Region, Oxford Hills, Poland, or Windham.  Graduating home school students from these districts may also apply. The student must be accepted by a college, university or art institute and plan to pursue an advanced education in the visual arts. This award will be presented directly to the school after the student has submitted to the Scholarship Committee proof of successful completion of the first semester. The funds will be earmarked for supplies and/or book.s

The scholarship will be granted based on artistic ability and potential. The Scholarship Committee will review scholarship applications and select the individual recipient for the award.
