Using pastels to draw figures from a live model you will receive instruction on basic skills for drawing from life, laying out 2 basic values using light shapes to indicate facial form, by layering of pastel. Model will be clothed in fun costumes.  Two sessions will be offered, morning from 9-12 and afternoon from 1-4.  Take both sessions for a day of pastels, or chose 1 session, either morning or afternoon. 
 
Cost: $70 per session.  Table top easels are supplied by Burr Chase Art center. Students should bring their own supplies (pastels, and paper). Here are some recommendations about supplies. More information will be provided once students have registered.
