241104-Ekphrastic Poetry Workshop

November 4, 11 & 15 (Monday, Monday and Friday), 4 pm - 6 pm

Description:    Ekphrastic poem is a vivid description of a work of art. Using a painting from Gallery 302 Guild show titled "Rhythms;Patterns in Progress" , students will write a poem in response to a chosen painting.  Toss those inhibitions to the wind and come experiment with words and phrases to make a beautiful work of poetic art!   On November 15th, the last class of the workshop, the Gallery will hold a reception where the artist and the poet can share their reflections about the chosen art through poetry.
