I have been doing artwork since I was 5 years old drawing women’s portraits on a chalkboard on our front porch in New Jersey.  My favorite image at that young age was from a beautiful art book we had with prints of famous artists work.  It was, and still is, Botticelli’s painting of the Birth of Venus.

After leaving New Jersey and moving to Maryland then California, I enjoyed living near Washington, DC then Los Angeles where I saw so much great art!  I graduated from a Cal. State University and continued drawing and painting throughout my life.  I did fashion drawings for newspapers and magazines and continued my studies at UCLA, Otis Art Institute in LA, Laguna Beach College of Art & Design and the Art Students League in NYC.  Also, I kept going to life drawing sessions wherever I could find them!  The human form, landscapes and still life have been my favorite subjects.

In the 1980’s, I opened a Gallery in Laguna Beach, CA to exhibit my work as well as a few friends.  Later, in the early 2000’s I opened a Gallery/ Boutique in San Juan Capistrano, CA..

I’d never been to Maine!  11 years ago, I discovered this beautiful State!  After traveling to so many places in the world, I thought this to be one of the most magnificent places to settle down and grow in my creative space.  So far…It’s been a wonderful journey. ❤️
