"Whooo's Coming" Painting workshop

Instructor:  Kathy Greene

Dates: September 20 (Saturday), 1 pm - 4 pm

Description: Children will learn a little about different types of owls found in New England, their habits and anatomy, and how to draw and paint them. We'll complete an acrylic painting on canvas while learning about drawing birds, color mixing, tints and shades, and brush strokes used to paint birds in acrylic. If time permits, we will also take a look at some of the paintings done by exhibiting artists in the Gallery.

 

Skill Level: Ages 6-11 yrs old

 

Supplies:  Student may bring a snack. Gallery will provide water,  all materials for class will be provided by instructor.  Activity can be messy, so please wear old clothes that can get dirty, or bring an apron and or a smock.

Cost: $45 per student.  10 student class limit.​​​ Cost of class includes all supplies. â€‹â€‹
