Colleen K. Fournier- Watercolorist
I am a watercolor artist from the western foothills of Maine. My love for nature, wildlife, and art started at a very young age. The woods and creating art both soothe my heart. I earned a BA in Wildlife Biology from the University of Maine at Machias and have worked field seasons for the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife. I am heavily inspired by the natural world and the wildlife that lives there, and my time in the woods helps me design the art I create. The feelings and details that can be captured on paper helps me bring moments with wildlife alive for my collectors to enjoy. I want my paintings to help you stop, breathe, and see the wonder of the beautiful world around us.
I am a self taught artist and love watercolor. I create my paintings on Arches 300 lb. cold press paper, with Winsor & Newton watercolors.
A few of my works have been a part of galleries at Maine Audubon locations. I am excited to be a part of Gallery 302.
