CAROLYN RHOADS - OIL, ACRYLIC, LINOCUT & PASTEL

Happy to live surrounded by the beautiful Maine landscape, Carolyn works in many mediums, including oil, acrylic, pastel, etching and relief printing.  Her work reflects her love of the natural world. As a young woman, she earned a BFA from the Museum Art School in Portland, Oregon and an MFA from Rhode Island School of Design. Carolyn’s work has been exhibited in many shows and galleries in New England and beyond and is in many private collections. Carolyn taught printmaking and drawing at Providence College and RISD before moving to Maine.
