I have always been drawn to color, whimsey and textures. My favorite place is at that point where fiber, texture, color, and stitch collide. Playing in that space inspires happy accidents. Who knows what I’ll make next?
Daffidilli describes my quirky work and attitude about my art. It’s all about fun and the adventure of creating something new and sharing it. I studied life drawing, painting, print making, and sculpture at The Ohio State University, Marion Ohio and with several private teachers. I enjoy experimenting with weaving, felting, stitch and paint, creating pillows, wall-hangings, unique garments, collage and paintings. I am happy to accept commissions.
In my collection of stationery and cards I use fiber, found objects, plants, leaves and flowers to create abstract illustrations - little art pieces for framing.
