welcomeThe Bridgton Art Guild is always looking for new members to join our art community. Membership is open to anyone – you just need to complete our application and submit your annual membership fee. Local artists are encouraged to become Exhibiting Artists at Gallery 302. The gallery is a wonderful place to meet other artists, share ideas, take classes, and exhibit your artwork. We are currently accepting new members.

The application process is easy: download an application or, better yet, stop by Gallery 302 and introduce yourself to the Artist Attendant on duty. To become an exhibiting artist, you will need to have some of your artwork reviewed by our Jurying Review Committee. Upon acceptance, you will be placed on our Wait List until there is an opening available. There is a training program for new artists to familiarize them with procedures and policies.  Exhibiting Artists are expected to actively participate in the day-to-day operations since it is a co-operative style gallery.

Contracts run February to July and August to January - Artists who are away for part of the year are welcomed by Gallery 302 - the contract periods should make it easy to fulfill your obligations.

Turnaround Day - 4 times per year

Artists need to "gallery sit" approximately 6 times per six month contract.

There are ample committees to join, most requiring limited amount of time. Thanks to the Internet, virtual meetings are easy to attend!

Artists Receptions are usually held monthly on a Friday evening. They are a wonderful way to meet and mingle with your fellow artists as well as potential clients.

As an Exhibiting Member, you will receive several important benefits including free advertising by the gallery promoting your artwork, very low gallery commission on sales of your art, and, most of all, the chance to be a part of the local scene of talented and friendly artists in the Lakes Region.
