I have always loved being outdoors and have also always had the desire to create art. Therefore, plein air painting (painting on-site in the great outdoors) is one of my passions.  If going outdoors to paint becomes difficult, I find I still love to paint our beautiful world indoors from collected images and remembered feelings - always hoping that some bit of that feeling will be communicated to the viewer.
