Art in the Park, held every July in Bridgton's Shorey Park, is an annual event that generates much excitement and anticipation. The crowds are especially jovial as they enjoy a warm summer day while visiting the many talented artists as they stroll through the park, many carrying the purchase of "just what they always wanted".
Visitors lounge on park benches or on the grass as they listen to music and enjoy their lunch. Each year the number of artists participating expands, offering the public even more delightful opportunity to find the perfect piece of artwork for their collection. Art in the Park is open to all members of the Bridgton Art Guild. You do not need to be an Exhibiting Artist at Gallery 302 to join in the fun. Applications are available in the Gallery or to download as well from this website. Active members of the Guild are encouraged to volunteer to help with the show if they are not displaying in a booth. If you are interested in volunteering for any aspect of the show, please contact Gallery 302.
